Studio Manager

As a Studio Manager leading our very first Aescape Studio, you'll craft an unparalleled member journey and propel membership expansion as we venture into retail. You’ll be collaborating closely with Retail Senior Leadership as we aim to become the premier destination for massage therapy. This role offers an incredible chance for you to shape the evolution of member experiences in the wellness realm and hone your leadership and retail management skills as we revolutionize the massage therapy industry. This role is based out of New York City

Aescape is the NY-based lifestyle robotics company redefining self-care. 

We announced the world's first commercially available, fully automated AI-powered massage experience with Equinox in March — and this is only the beginning. We are in a period of rapid growth, launching our category-transforming product throughout 2024 with global leaders in hospitality, wellness, sports and fitness.

What You’ll Do 

As our first Studio Manager at Aescape you will:

• Build the Aescape community and culture within your studio.

• Cultivate a unique and seamless Member Experience.

• Lead Studio Crew to meet and exceed membership goals and other KPIs.

• Provide in the moment feedback and coaching to your team when necessary.

• Oversee the onboarding, training and development of all new ASMs and part-time hires.

• Be an expert on studio specific and company-wide operational procedures and policies.

• Ensure that all company-wide initiatives are executed in your studio.

• Follow and lead safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of our team and customers.  

• Maintain all display fixtures, lighting and marketing material.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of retail management experience, preferably within the retail, hospitality, or health and wellness industry. 

• A proven ability to drive sales from start-up, execute events and work closely with HQ team.

• A talent for leading and developing a united team.

• The ability and willingness to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.
