Security Engineer, Intern (Summer 2024)

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly. They are looking for an intern passionate about security to join their Information Security team in shaping the future of finance.

Skills

Strong ethical and discreet handling of sensitive information
Curiosity and motivation for learning about information security
Good communication and collaboration skills
Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Experience with Python or similar language
Knowledge of cloud security fundamentals preferred

Responsibilities

Support Enterprise Security team on meaningful projects enhancing Affirm's security posture
Partner with security engineers across various functions within the team
Contribute to projects in areas like Data Loss Prevention, Vulnerability Management, Incident Response, etc.
Collaborate with cross-functional Security teams
Work on improving preventive, detective, and responsive security controls

Education

University-enrolled student with experience or interest in information security
