In order to best deliver our product, we develop and execute partnership strategies that power and amplify our distribution.We’re looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager who is motivated by the opportunity to drive transformational growth with an important digital wallet partner, impacting key metrics such as loan volume, program profitability, and merchant acquisition for Affirm. The ideal candidate will be an experienced commercial expert who has built and grown partnerships, and worked cross-functionally with internal and external teams to deliver results, preferably in the payments industry. This role will report into the Director of Strategic Partnerships.What you'll do• Manage the full partner lifecycle for one of Affirm’s key strategic partners, including overall performance and profitability, strategic planning, and deal negotiation/expansion• Develop relationships with key partner stakeholders to facilitate advocacy of Affirm’s products within the partner’s organization• Identify and develop new offerings to collaborate on with the partner to drive industry leadership and new business opportunities• Partner with Marketing teams to develop robust go-to-market strategies that accelerate consumer and merchant engagement• Partner with Product and Engineering teams on partner roadmap and product development• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational excellence and drive requirements to develop and scale programs, operations and business strategyWhat we look for• 5-7 years of experience in Business Development, Partnership Management, Strategy Consulting, Corporate Development or related field• Thorough knowledge of financial technology, consumer payments, and digital wallets• Demonstrated record of closing and growing partnerships, ideally related to financial technology or consumer payments• Strong negotiation skills, with an emphasis on driving partner value• Clear communication, structured thinking, organization and project management skills• Strong collaborator who can build relationships internally and externallyPay Grade - MEquity Grade- 8Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents.)USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $180,000 - $230,000USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $160,000 - $210,000Additional Benefits Include• Type of employment: Contract of Employment• Flexible Spending Wallets for tech, food and lifestyle• Away Days - wellness days to take off work and recharge• Learning & Development programs• Parental leave• Employee Resource & Community Groups• This role is eligible for creative tax benefits, subject to applicable law and company policyPlease note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.Affirm is proud to be a remote-first company!
