Job Summary
The Financial Analyst plays a pivotal role in providing financial insights and administrative support to the organization. Reporting to the CFO and collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Analytics leaders, this role involves developing financial models, budgets, and forecasts to drive informed decision-making. The ideal candidate has strong analytical capabilities, proficiency in financial modeling, and a proven track record in ROI and NPV calculations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain annual budgets, long-range plans, and monthly financial forecasts with a focus on sales, margins, and marketing.
Conduct financial modeling to evaluate ROI and NPV for various projects and campaigns.
Provide in-depth financial analysis of marketing spend and its impact on sales and margins.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze marketing KPIs, media mix models, and business trends, integrating findings into financial forecasts.
Prepare and present monthly financial reports, including variance analysis, for leadership teams.
Partner with marketing and accounting teams to ensure accurate month-end accruals and expense timing.
Identify and implement opportunities to automate reporting and streamline financial processes.
Prepare materials for executive management, board meetings, investor conferences, and industry events.
Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting for all financial projects.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, accounting, finance, or a related field.
Strong experience in financial analysis, pricing modeling, NPV, and ROI calculations.
Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with budgeting processes.
Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to leadership.
Experience with leveraging technology to enhance financial reporting processes.
