Windows Systems Engineer

Agile Defense is looking for a Windows Systems Engineer to support a federal law enforcement agency. As a Windows Systems Engineer, you will be part of a team that is responsible for installing, maintaining, and securing any Windows-based systems that form the infrastructure backbone of enterprise networks.


Clearance
  • Active TS required at the time of application. Must have SCI and CI Poly eligibility


Responsibilities/Duties
  • Serve as the expert for all Windows environments.
  • Design, implement, document, and provide ongoing support of the Windows Infrastructure.
  • Support physical and virtual systems on multiple security enclaves.
  • Respond to frequent and varied requests for DNS, Active Directory, Group Policy, DFS, print systems, and other support.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of problems to minimize downtime.
  • Develop scripts and other modern solutions for advancing enterprise automation.
  • Collaborate professionally with other infrastructure teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Engineer, troubleshoot, and maintain baseline Windows operating system images for the enterprise.


Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of directly related industry experience


Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience with Windows system administration
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
  • Familiarity with MDT, WDS, and working with WIM
  • Systems administration of DNS, DHCP, and DFS
  • Administration of Microsoft technologies through their lifespans
  • Print server management preferred
  • Experience deploying applications and Microsoft solutions in accordance with STIG guidance preferred
  • PowerShell scripting preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
