· Ensures that services are delivered in a manner that maximizes effectiveness and efficiency.
· Identifies ways to be more responsive to referral sources.
· Responsible for providing oversight, coordination, leadership and direction to the daily operation of family reimbursement services, and growth in community habilitation program, respite and vocational services programs.
· Develops and drives department goals, objectives, policies, and procedures with a focus on service delivery and outcomes.
· Provides regular updates to the families of people supported as necessary.
· Collaborates with agency leadership to develop solutions to complex situations.
· Represents the Adult Day Service programs to governmental service providers, school districts, community groups, and state agencies
· Reviews and evaluates work methods and procedures for improving organizational performance, organizational effectiveness, and productivity; identify and resolve problems and/or issues.
· Supports special projects and committees including but not limited to CQL, Self-Advocacy, DEI, Human Rights, Incident Review, and Employee Appreciation.
Management:
· Manages department staff including the delegation of tasks and assignments, foster teamwork, collaboration, and innovation; and inspire excellent performance.
· Serves as a mentor to develop and motivate direct reports by setting clear expectations and work standards.
· Works closely with senior team members to promote effective communication, facilitate information sharing and collaborative problem-solving methods.
· Assists in the development and management of data management tools and analytics and supporting a knowledge sharing system and working environment.
· Ensures compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations as well as agency and program policies.
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
· At least ten years of experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
· At least five years’ experience in leadership position
· Current working knowledge of OPWDD, DOL and ACCES-VR regulations; applicable federal, state, and local laws, codes and regulations.
· Must be able to display a high level of discretion and understand the sensitive nature of confidential information with superior emotional intelligence.
Salary Range $ 110,000 - $130,000
