Engineering Manager

What you'll be working on in development:
  • Projects and tasks estimation, technical decomposition;
  • Be responsible for new features delivery ;
  • Pre-release validation;
  • Be deeply involved in the release process, manage and improve it;
  • Observance of ceremonies and artifacts within the team;
  • Be responsible for technical metrics after release;
  • Implement KPI and team performance metrics and technical metrics of the project (team, block);
  • Take active participation in product incidents, research problems and report improvements;
  • Handling requests from other groups and covering cross-team communication;
  • "Support" relevant parts of the product within the cross-team work;
  • Support and responsibility for the RC environment.


What you'll be working on in people management:
  • Planning, hiring, and managing the team's headcount;
  • Conduct job interviews and create onboarding plans for new colleagues;
  • Give frequent and actionable feedback to support your team's development;
  • Create and control of achievement the individual development plan;
  • Initiate one-to-one performance review meetings with the team members;
  • Approve all teams requests (vacation, sick leaves, invoices, bonuses);
  • Lead formal and informal internal communication (daily standups, team buildings, birthdays, etc.


What we expect from you:
  • 5+ years of previous software development and engineering leadership experience in a fast-growing SaaS or technology company;
  • Strong knowledge of at least one of the following stacks (PHP, JS, Go) and a broad enough understanding of others;
  • Experience with several programming languages and frameworks;
  • Ability to deliver high-quality products within a fast-pacing, entrepreneurial, purpose-driven environment;
  • Led successful engineering teams, including mentoring engineers and managers;
  • Experience recruiting top talent;
  • The ability to work with a high level of autonomy and responsibility;
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies;
  • Complete understanding and experience in product development and operations processes.
