As Airtasker’s Technical SEO Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of driving impactful SEO improvements for both Airtasker and Oneflare’s websites. Your expertise will guide our SEO engineering team, as you analyse data, provide insights, and recommend changes prioritised by potential impact. Working alongside our skilled SEO specialists and analysts, you’ll have the chance to implement on-page optimisations and closely monitor the results, ensuring that every action you take contributes to the performance and visibility of our sites.
Staying up-to-date with search engine changes, industry-leading case studies, and new tools will be essential to your role, ensuring you bring fresh, effective strategies to the team. As our in-house Technical SEO expert, you’ll go beyond implementation—sharing your insights and rationale with the broader team to empower and enable them. Your clear communication and dedication to knowledge-sharing will enhance our collective approach to SEO, supporting a culture of growth and continuous improvement across Airtasker.

Lead monthly SEO audits, spotting technical challenges that could impact search visibility and rankings.
Take charge of SEO strategy for two high-traffic, globally expanding sites, Airtasker and Oneflare.
Recommend top-tier solutions for site architecture, internal linking, redirects, crawl budget, schema markup, page speed, mobile responsiveness, and more.
Partner closely with SEO Engineers, Specialists, and Content Teams to solve technical challenges that elevate our SEO game.
Communicate SEO tickets clearly and collaborate with our engineering team to deliver powerful, actionable fixes.
Interpret data from SEO tools to uncover optimisation opportunities and refine SEO workflows.
Leverage your expertise in SEMRush, Ahrefs, Botify, Screaming Frog, and more to navigate and analyze technical SEO insights.
Stay at the cutting edge of Technical SEO, keeping up with the latest in tools, technologies, and search engine updates.
Proven experience in Technical SEO, with deep knowledge of Google algorithms, ranking factors, and best practices.
Proficient in Google Analytics, Search Console, and key SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
Skilled in HTML, CSS, and code structure with a data-driven approach to SEO strategy.
Strong analytical skills, able to interpret data and make informed SEO decisions.
Demonstrated experience integrating SEO with PPC, PR, and CRO to drive growth.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to guide and collaborate with stakeholders on SEO strategies.
Effective project management skills to execute SEO strategies from start to finish.
Familiarity with additional tools like Botify, SurferSEO, Tableau, Amplitude, and Jira, plus advanced Excel knowledge (vlookups and pivot tables).
Advantageous experience with enterprise and international SEO, PPC campaigns, and using AI tools to optimise workflows.
Collaborative team player, comfortable working independently, and experienced in agile environments using Scrum.
