Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss this role's specific work requirements with you during the hiring process. The Opportunity
Your main responsibility will be to increase the SEO performance of the assigned lines of business. This role involves developing and executing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies, collaborating with internal teams, providing SEO support for various projects, and reporting performance insights to the lines of business. You will also work closely with the content marketing team to identify consumer search trends that can inform content strategy, tactics, and optimizations.
Ally work locations Charlotte or Detroit, hybrid schedule 3 days in office and 2 days from home

The Work Itself
• Provide SEO inputs for net new and revised content marketing initiatives, such as blogs, articles, landing pages and more.
• Identify, report, and communicate new opportunities for content creation through keyword research, competitive analysis, and trends analysis.
• Assist in evangelizing the SEO channel within organization and highlighting organic optimization opportunities.
• Stay on top of latest SEO developments, leverage industry trends, and be able to communicate them internally when opportunities or risks present themselves.
• Help with ad hoc requests, such as POVs and reporting from various business partners.
• Track the performance of projects and self-initiated optimizations to help determine the effectiveness of our optimizations. Report on these performances to relevant stakeholders.
• Compile analysis, recommendations, and prioritization to drive on-page optimizations, such as title tags, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, structured markup, content optimization, and more.
• Lead efforts including SEO strategic research, planning, tactical delivery, and communication efforts for lines of business.
• Assist in management of the link acquisition and outreach program.
• Support expansions of team functions such as Video Search Optimization, Social Search Optimization, Generative Engine Optimization, and others.
The Skills You Bring
• 1+ years of professional experience, in house or agency, in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) with a track record of improving organic performance required.
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices and core concepts such as crawling, indexation, and ranking
• Strong analytical skills: ability to analyze data, recognize trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
• Knowledge of financial services business a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Effective presentation skills under a variety of conditions (one-on-one, group, team)
• Experience managing moderately complex deliverables.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of multiple projects, demonstrating self-sufficiency in planning, executing, and optimizing SEO strategies.
• Proficiency using enterprise SEO tools and web analytics: Ahrefs, ScreamingFrog, Google Search Console, Google and/or Adobe Analytics
