The Opportunity: 

Alpha Lion is seeking a Director of Web to oversee our website, development, and UI/UX teams, shaping an exceptional online experience that engages and converts. You will be at the forefront of creating a high-performance website and marketplace presence that embodies our Superhuman ethos, ensuring every digital interaction reflects our pursuit of excellence. Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the strategy for Alpha Lion’s website, Amazon, and Tiktok shops to deliver an optimal shopping experience that aligns with our brand and storytelling.
• Monitor and adapt site performance metrics to meet company goals. Use data-driven insights and A/B testing to enhance consumer experience, conversion rates, and revenue per visitor.
• Set site-specific targets and work with cross-functional teams to improve traffic quality and site performance. Strategize online distribution channels to maximize revenue and profitability.
• Ensure AlphaLion.com offers an exceptional shopping experience. Analyze web traffic, sales data, and user feedback to identify and address issues, and provide updates to leadership.
• Lead and manage website and marketplace teams, oversee budgets and vendor relationships, and ensure timely project completion. Handle shipping, returns, and resource allocation effectively.
• Guide UX/UI design to ensure the site is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for speed, usability, and SEO.
• Collaborate on content strategies, maintain SEO best practices, and ensure the website meets legal and industry standards, including data privacy and security.
• Inspire and manage a team of website managers, developers, and designers. Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment while aligning web initiatives with business strategy.
• Work closely with marketing, media, operations, and customer service teams to integrate promotions and maintain site integrity. Keep teams informed about insights and opportunities.

• Comfortable in the ever-evolving eCommerce landscape, you handle pressure and adapt to new challenges with ease and resilience.
• Your openness in communication and decision-making fosters trust and alignment within the team and across the organization, ensuring clear and effective collaboration.

Skills & competencies:

• Minimum of 7 years in managing website development, UI/UX design, and digital strategy, ideally in a high-growth environment.
• Ability to develop and execute comprehensive website and marketplace strategies that align with brand goals and enhance user experience.
• Proficient in analyzing web traffic, sales data, and user behavior to drive improvements and optimize performance metrics like CVR and revenue per session.
• Strong understanding of web technologies, SEO best practices, and UX/UI design principles. Skilled in using tools for site maintenance, A/B testing, and performance tracking.
• Experience in leading and mentoring cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and content creators. Ability to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Knowledge of managing online distribution channels such as Amazon and TikTok Shops, with a focus on enhancing conversion rates and overall marketplace performance.
• Ability to oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. Experience in handling vendor relationships and P&L responsibilities related to web and marketplace operations.
• Deep commitment to understanding and improving the customer journey, utilizing both qualitative feedback and quantitative data to inform strategies and address issues.
