Job Description:
An opportunity currently exists for a Engineer-in-Training within the Power System Studies team of the Projects department of AltaLink. This successful candidate will work with internal and external technical staff and deliver various types of system and facility studies to support the customer generation and load connection, transmission system planning/implementation and new business development. This individual will provide technical support and guidance at all critical project phases – from budgeting, planning, implementation, through to final acceptance. This position will appeal to individuals with power system study experience who are looking for an opportunity to further grow the breadth and depth of their power system knowledge and system and facility study skills in a dynamic utility environment. The position can be an intermediate or senior position pending on the qualification of the successful candidate. This position reports to the Manager, PSS & Principal Power Systems.
