HR Coordinator – Recruitment & Onboarding
Job Summary
Under the Director of Human Resources, the HR Coordinator provides administrative assistance and oversees all the functional administrative areas, including Recruiting, Onboarding, Training, and others as assigned. This hybrid position is expected to be in the office three days a week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, onboarding and recruiting documents and reports, DCFS background files and clearances, and documentation following licensing and quality standards; updating, purging, and providing reports as needed.• Assists HR Coordinator - Benefits & HRIS with management of HR email boxes and HR department voicemail. Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, hiring processes, and onboarding, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management,• Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to appropriately collect and file all required documents.• Acts as a liaison between the organization and external vendors, including ATS, Relias LMS, DCFS, and Paycor.• Assists Recruitment Manager with coordinating and ordering supplies for job fairs and community recruitment events.• Processes all HR invoices.• Maintaining calendars of the HR management team and recruitment events.• Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation: AA/AS degree or equivalent; BA/BS preferredExperience: 3 years related experienceOther: Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record with OHU-required levels of coverage for auto insuranceRequired Skills1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.2. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.4. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including proficiency in Excel.5.
