You’ll work closely with a cross-functional group of UX researchers, engineers, product managers, research scientists, and executives to propose and drive innovations in Device Operations.The ideal candidate has experience designing exceptional UX for business application systems, with strong ideation skills, holistic design thinking, attention to detail, and passion for making difficult tasks into simple and delightful experiences for the user. You must be able to work with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment and deliver designs that elevate the customer experience.Key job responsibilitiesOwn the CX from beginning to end and ensure product/feature is built to spec and achieves project goals.Conduct user research to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations.Translate research findings into actionable insights and design solutions.Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate design concepts.Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals.Iterate designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and data analysis.Work inventively around constraints and navigate ambiguous situations.Be a passionate and effective advocate for design with non-design audiences.Build relationships and communicate effectively with local and remote cross-functional teams.A day in the lifeThis is an opportunity to get into the ground floor of a new team in device operations. The central design team provides lots of opportunities to learn and grow.About the teamThe DOTS team is dedicated to delivering software and business solutions for Device Ops & Supply Chain (DeviceOps), focusing on creating scalable infrastructure for future challenges. Collaborating with various Amazon teams, DOTS develops requirements, crafts user experiences, manages programs, makes critical decisions, and ensures data accuracy. The team harnesses science, data engineering, business intelligence, and UX design expertise to develop product strategies that enhance optimization and efficiency within DeviceOps.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:San Diego, CA, USA | Seattle, WA, USA | Sunnyvale, CA, USABASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 8+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience- Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, ProtoPie, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, or similarPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices- Experience acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps- Experience with UX design of complex workflows#J-18808-Ljbffr
