DescriptionAmazon’s Reliability and Maintenance Engineering Global Talent Development (RME GTD) team is currently seeking an experienced and highly collaborative project management professional who will lead the RME organization in onboarding process management and innovation. This role is responsible for managing, executing, and communicating onboarding products and processes globally, ensuring quality and accuracy of the delivery, developing new platforms and mechanisms to track and deliver learning journeys, and own the technology related initiatives that support continued growth and expansion.The Program Manager III needs to have an expert level understanding in onboarding initiatives and strategy, communication across teams and geographies, and utilizing data to drive inventiveness and measuring success. This role will assess to understand new joiner barriers, business needs and challenges, architect new processes and technology for growth, and drive efficiency, accuracy, and comprehension within the organization. This position also requires a strong delivery record and proven program management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional and learning projects and programs. This role requires scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process/product changes. Role requires up to 15% travel.Key job responsibilities• Manage the data and content within Amazon’s onboarding platforms and report accurate onboarding metrics for the global RME organization• Partner and collaborate with other GTD programs to manage and execute onboarding data reporting and auditing strategies• Innovate and scale program initiatives to bridge onboarding gaps and uphold high standards of execution and tracking• Drive continuous improvement methodologies of dashboard reporting and processes• Develop and document comprehensive onboarding standards and training materials to establish consistent guidelines to promote effective usage and standardization across the organization.• Develop and drive governing KPIs, providing visibility to key milestones, and performance of programs using this data to drive/influence business decisions• Utilize data to drive timely and accurate decisions for content updates and modifications• Provide guidance to field leadership utilizing onboarding initiatives and strategic project planning, utilize techniques of influencing outside of leadership reporting structure.• Collaborate with and support program managers who utilize the system for their individual programs to procure resources, outline project scopes, prioritize initiatives, establish milestones, and foster successful program delivery• Take ownership of program communication concerning onboarding systems, expediting progress by making timely decisions, resolving obstacles (e.g., issues hindering progress), and escalating matters as needed to ensure smooth advancement.• Work with program managers and business leaders to communicate and impact critical business initiatives.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and subject matter experts to develop, implement, and evaluate learning initiativesA day in the lifeAmazon offers a full range of benefits that supports you and eligible family members, including domestic partners and their children. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
