DescriptionAmazon is seeking a candidate to identify opportunities to develop innovative products and that will redefine the standards for customer experience in our North American transportation network. Amazon transportation encompasses all of the operations that deliver shipments from our fulfillment centers and third party locations to customers worldwide.As a Senior Product Manager for the North America Transportation Strategic Planning team, you will work with business, science and analytics teams across the company to build state of the art data products to drive Planning products that define the future of Amazon fulfillment. The candidate needs to identify issues, develop and integrate innovative solutions that lead to improvements in the North American transportation Planning.The successful candidate is passionate about analyzing performance metrics, challenging the status-quo and taking a data-driven approach to identify and prioritize the most impactful efforts. This role will need to present findings to business partners to drive improvements and address customer needs to deliver the right products. In this role, together with the science team, you will develop scalable solutions to improve and automate existing processes, create evaluation methods to track the performance and identify areas of improvements.Key job responsibilities• Define and execute product roadmap for NA Transportation Strategic Planning Team• Oversee development of data solutions, drive consensus within the organization and effectively communicate recommendations to senior management• Drive requirements definition, CX design, compliance, feature development priority, and product messagingWe are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Arlington, VA, USA | Bellevue, WA, USABasic Qualifications• 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience• Bachelor's degree or equivalent• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition• Experience with end to end product delivery• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product• Experience as a product manager or owner• Experience owning technology productsPreferred Qualifications• Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights• Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholdersAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
