How will you make an impact in this role?
Responsible for contacting clients with overdue accounts to secure the settlement of the account. Also they do preventive work to avoid future overdue with accounts that have a high exposure.
This Product Manager will:
· Actively participate to design the capability roadmap to enable business processes that support the transaction processing products
· Deliver tools & capabilities based on customer needs, competitive analysis and market and technology trends
· Sets expectations with Product Owners, stakeholders, customers, architects
· Can say ‘No’ to multiple directions: Stakeholders, Managers, Product Owners
· Prioritizes Features and negotiates Program backlog
· Understanding of how to operate with Epics, Capabilities, Features and Stories
· Sets vision and own roadmap for the product
· · Maintain open communication channels with stakeholders, business partners, and technology partners
· Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, including the ability to develop relationships with leaders while appropriately influencing without direct authority
· Proven ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity, and rapid change
· Problem solver and solid analytical skills
· Support governance processes for assigned product(s)
Minimum Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
· Product planning experience with strong understanding of the Product Management lifecycle, along with demonstrated project management skills
· Experience in Scaled Agile delivery/framework
· Experienced in Rally
· Knowledge of merchant transaction processing capabilities
· Ability to gate-keep and manage scope
· "Growth Mindset" with a passion for innovative thinking
· Understanding of GMS business drivers, merchant needs, and market trends
· Ability to think globally and drive standardization in processes and capabilities (May be required to "act locally" where governed by compliance, legal, or market-specific requirements)
· Proven track record of communication, influence and leadership without authority
· Demonstration of skill in gathering and facilitating definition and clarity on needs translated into high quality capabilities.
· Ability to drive innovation, communicate effectively, and influence without authority are necessary leadership attributes of the successful candidate
Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
