American Express’ Global Advertising & Brand Management (GABM) team is responsible for creating marketplace demand and driving commerce for American Express through differentiated and innovative branding, marketing and experiences. We have an ambitious goal: to be the most creative department in the Fortune 500 and we aim to deliver on that by doing work that is both creative and effective. Within GABM sits the Global Brand Content & Media team who is responsible for building best in class brand content across channels and audiences (including Amex’s internal creative agency, OnBrand), driving impact and innovation through global media and analytics, and delivering cultural and brand platforms that bring the Powerful Backing of American Express to life.
The Manager of Media Investment & Optimization will support technical elements of our media plans, and will work hand-in-hand with teammates across the Global Media & Analytics team to ensure excellence in our approach to media buying. This individual will play a critical role in advancing our use of technology, negotiating with partners, and tailoring media buying models to tactical needs by developing a best-in-class approach to structuring and executing our campaigns. They will also drive our Investment Optimization strategy, partnering with key internal and external stakeholders to enhance our evaluation of media opportunities.

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
Depending on factors such as business unit requirements, the nature of the position, cost and applicable laws, American Express may provide visa sponsorship for certain positions.
