Job Summary The Onboarding Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at all business locations. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS (Human Resource Information System) entry. Job Responsibilities • Coordinates health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions. • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions. • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files. • Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks. • Reconciles benefits statements. • Conducts audits of payroll, benefits, or other HR programs and recommends corrective action. • Assists with processing of terminations. • Assists with the preparation of the performance review process. • Assists with recruitment and interview process. Supervises the status of candidates in HRIS (Human Resource Information System) and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process. • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested. Key Skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Customer service oriented • Working understanding of Human Resources principles, practices, and procedures • Time management skills • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Education & Years of Experience • High School Diploma/GED plus 2-5 years of work experience Certifications • Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR) (Preferred) Additional Experience • Strong customer service • Ability to learn and work in multiple systems Work Environment / Physical Requirements • Work is performed in an office/home office environment. • Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
