Analyst, Cyber Security

This role in summary

As an Analyst, Cyber Security you will be an integral part of the Identity & Access Management (IAM) team. You will work closely with the Internal Audit, SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance teams to assuring we are always compliant with Whirlpool’s SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) Controls. You will be supporting projects and operations by defining and maintaining users & roles on our global IT (Information Technology) platforms and systems following the least privilege principle.

Employees in this role can work a hybrid schedule of three core days in the office and two days remote. This enables employees to come together to collaborate in person and gives employees the added flexibility to work remotely.

Your responsibilities will include

• Support IT and Business projects following Whirlpool security processes and best practices
• Define and maintain users and security roles on all WHR (Whirlpool) IT platforms and systems
• Support User Access Reviews and work with the reviewers & ID (Identity) Administration Security teams in getting them completed in time
• Champion and oversee IAM ID Administration Security processes in alignment with Security and Organization goals
• Develop automation to build, test, deploy, manage, or maintain solutions to improve the IAM Security processes
• Support in designing and developing IAM security policies, standards, and procedures

Minimum requirements

• High School Diploma
• 3+ years of experience in Information Systems, Information Security, or Identity & Access Management areas
• 6+ months of experience with role-based access controls (RBAC) for provisioning, establishing team-based roles, and assigning them entitlements
• 6+ months of experience with Security governance practices and IAM Policy/Document preparation

Preferred skills and experiences

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Information Security
• Security Certifications
