POSITION SUMMARY:
The Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis will be responsible for providing accurate, data based financial planning and reporting. This role will work closely with company-wide stakeholders to help make well informed decisions, write reports, and monitor financial movements. As this is a highly collaborative role, the ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and can successfully partner with other teams across the organization.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (Core Competencies)
Build and maintain budgets and forecasts while taking into account company’s goals and financial standing
Work within FP&A software to build reporting and dashboards to visualize trends, key drivers, and monitor variances
Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with budgets and forecasts
Assist management with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial review memos
Help reconcile transactions by reviewing and comparing data
Support department and/or business stakeholders with ad hoc reporting and analysis
Vendor Analysis, contract management, payment reconciliation, and payment audit
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Proficient in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, etc.) or MS Office
Experience with statistical analysis a plus but not required
Programming knowledge (SQL/VBA/Google Apps Script) a plus but not required
CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE:
BS degree in Finance, Economics or related field
While the stated degree is preferred, applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience may also be considered
Relevant work experience of 2-5 years
