Analyst, Legal Advisory

In this role as a Legal Advisory Analyst, your goal is to support our Client Strategy & Success team to provide invaluable guidance, insights and learnings to customers in relation to their outside counsel management programs via the use of PERSUIT. You will be working closely with our Legal Pricing Consultants to review and analyze client data, draft alternative fee arrangements, and project manage customer RFPs to completion.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Work alongside Legal Pricing Consultants to support them in drafting and recommending strategies related to best practice RFP and Alternative Fee Arrangements in the legal service categories to lawyers and department heads of F500 corporate law departments.
• Assist in the drafting and execution of RFPs throughout the lifetime of the RFP process from inception through to selection of a firm.
• Initial review of each RFP proposal responses for misalignments in assumptions and offer clarification suggestions to Legal Pricing Consultants.
• Prepare and provide summaries, reports and data analysis on an RFP or project basis to supplement the Client’s evaluation decision.
• Prepare and provide weekly and monthly platform usage and results reporting to the client account management team.
• Offer technical and functional support to our clients and partner law firms.
• Support Legal Pricing Consultants and Customer Success Managers to provide training and socialisation demonstrations to our clients and partner law firms.
• Collect and interpret data from the RFPs to provide insights to the client regarding behaviours and trends which may be impacting cost savings.
• Maintain our comprehensive library of legal pricing and matter specific templates and collaborate with Legal Pricing Consultants to create new templates.
• Identify areas for product improvements and enhancements based on trends across clients and collaborate with Legal Pricing Consultants to gather feedback.
  

Who You Are:

• 1+ year professional experience, ideally within a legal pricing or legal sourcing role
• JD highly preferred but not required
• Strong analytical skills
• Client-facing experience a nice to have but not required

For NYC-based applicants, the base salary range for this position is between $85,000-110,000 dependent on experience.
