Summary:


Nickelodeon Animation Studio is looking for an Animation Casting Associate to support a current series Casting Director. This role reports to the assigned Casting Director for each production.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Should have a background in Animation Casting
  • Support the Casting Director on assigned Nickelodeon Animation Shows by reviewing sent-in auditions, sharing feedback, and building pitch lists
  • Liaison between various production departments to gather casting materials
  • Maintain credit sheets, cast lists, and tracking grids
  • Prepare audition sides and character breakdowns
  • Coordinate producer sessions and general meetings with actors
  • Attend production meetings while taking notes on the Casting Directors behalf
  • Assist Casting Director in assigning incidental casting across current series productions
  • Coordinates with agents and producers to setup callbacks
  • Manages note-taking and talent wrangling during callback sessions
  • Various duties assigned by Supervisor


Qualifications:


  • At least 2+ years of casting experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under strenuous deadlines
  • Detail-oriented (Extremely Important)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Strong experience with scheduling talent and working with agents preferred
  • Animation or Voice Over agency experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge of voice over actors preferred, along with knowledge of the current entertainment industry


Additional Qualifications:


  • College degree or equivalent work experience

Weekly Hiring Salary Range: $950.0 - 1050.0. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington State, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program, and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
