Machine Learning Engineering Manager, Trust & Safety
Anthropic is looking for an ML Engineering Manager to lead an Applied ML team focused on Trust & Safety, developing AI-driven detection models to protect and enhance AI services.
Skills
- Management experience in a technical ML environment
- Experience in anti-fraud/risk engineering
- Expertise in detecting harmful content
- Strong communication skills
- Project management abilities
Responsibilities
- Set team vision to detect and prevent harmful usage of AI services
- Lead a team of ML and software engineers to create practical safety mechanisms
- Partner with Product, Policy, and Enforcement teams for risk identification
- Maintain understanding of AI safety research and best practices
- Drive collaboration between research and policy teams
- Support team members through feedback and coaching
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
