Job Opportunity: Accounting Manager Join our dynamic Pharmaceutical client in Exton, PA as an Accounting Manager. This is a contract position for 6 months, with the potential for an extension up to 18 months. The pay rate ranges from $70.00 to $90.00 per hour. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee a portion of the general accounting function with multiple staff members reporting into this position. • Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting and reporting standards. • Manage staff development and work allocation. • Oversee the month-end close process and ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial statements to the Group level. • Ensure GAAP and SOX compliance in financial statements while maximizing efficiency and effectiveness in our processes. • Review journal entries and supporting documentation for accuracy. • Review account reconciliations and supporting documentation for accuracy. • Handle other ad hoc projects as needed. Essential Qualifications: • Strong CPA certification. • Financial BS and P&L analytics experience. • Strong knowledge of MS Excel. Preferred Qualifications: • Recent SAP experience. • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry. • Experience in a service-oriented or shared services finance organization. • General accrual accounting and balance sheet experience. Skills and Behaviors: • Good organizational skills. • Ability to identify deficiencies and improve current processes. • Strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders outside of the Finance department. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
