Aquent has an EXCITING opportunity for a UX Designer!This position is hybrid . You will be asked to work Eastern Time Zone hours. We will only consider candidates that currently live in or can commute to our client’s office in Newark, NJ . No C2C is allowed.Be able to showcase your work through case studies and/or online portfolio.As an Experience Designer, you’ll work in a multidisciplinary team, alongside researchers, experience designers, visual designers, and developers, to deliver best-in-class, human-centered products and services for our client’s Marketing organization. Your role will be to analyze, plan, map, and create the most valuable and contextually accurate experiences that are simple and intuitive for our client’s customers to use.Not only will you be excited by the challenge of creating great products across multiple channels, devices, and platforms, but you will also be able to see and own the end-to-end journey as well as the detailed outcomes. You will have a deep understanding of experience architecture, how to design in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, while helping transform our client’s end-to-end product and service conversion and acquisition model.Job ResponsibilitiesUnderstand customer needs and identify where separate interactions should come together as one that meets that needArrange these separate interactions into rational screens, user flows, and digital touchpoints for that productLook for commonalities in activities across experiences where new product opportunities could be realizedUnderstand the core Human Centered Design framework of an experience and design targeted improvements to that framework that accommodates new and improved process refinements and deliverablesCreate and rapidly iterate interactive prototypes in accordance with task, scenario, and journeyIdentify and design new cross-functional design patterns and standardsCo-create designs with developers, marketing, and product stakeholdersPut forward new cases for design improvements with marketing and product managersCommunicate with detailed design and industry-backed decisions and be able to represent all experience touchpointsEngage and align with all multidisciplinary teams across the customer office businessRun and lead Design Thinking, Lean Business Canvas workshops, design sprints, and other collaborative activitiesAnalyze failure within existing experiences and identify root causes for that failure that can be translated into solutionsIdentify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within existing servicesExperience Requirements:6+ years in a Product Design, UX, or equivalent design roleAgency and/or corporate environment experiencePrevious work in a regulated industry (banking, finance, or healthcare)Understanding of HTML, CSS, and experience working with CMS (Content Management System) a plusPrevious experience as a Data designer and/or Salesforce designerPossible work on Medical Underwriting initiativeSkill Requirements:WireframingSketchingPrototypingSite mappingData Visualization and CommunicationWorkshop FacilitationVisual User Interface DesignUser FlowsExperience MappingResearchUser TestingExperience StrategyThe target hiring compensation range for this role is $56.25 to $62.51 an hour.
