***Portfolio is required with resume***Summary:The main function of a UX/UI Developer is to develop, create, and modify user interfaces through and understanding of end-user needs.Job Responsibilities:Engages with the business development team and/or customer early on to seek a deeper appreciation of the customers’ business problem/goals.Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraintsDesign, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of designAnalyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modificationsSkills:Strong understanding and experience applying Human Centered design principles and best practicesPrevious experience designing web app design systems – both visual and UX systems – requiredPrevious experiences designing applications incorporating generative AI preferredPrevious experience working with front-end devs to create working code-based prototypes preferredKnowledge and application of accessibility UX best practices and principles preferredAbility to present design concepts and explain their uses and functionStrong writing, and communication skillsAbility to set priorities and meet deadlinesAttention to detail, high level of visual design polishCollaboration and independenceEducation/Experience:Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required10+ years experience requiredThe target hiring compensation range for this role is $60.18 to $66.87 an hour.
