What Will You Be Doing?
Customarily and regularly collaborates with leadership in supporting the long-term vision of building out highly scalable and stable gaming system and platforms. Customarily and regularly reviews the development pipeline ensuring overall architecture meets current and future business needs.
Act as a visionary and strategist for product solutions.
Actively lead and contributes to a forward-thinking culture ensuring products are developed on the leading edge of industry standards.
Regularly provide architectural expertise, direction, and assistance to internal cross functional teams such as, software development, and quality assurance.
Develop resolutions to complex problems that require frequent use of creativity. Customarily and regularly provides immediate supervision to a group of employees, assigning tasks and checking work at frequent intervals.
Perform other related duties as assigned

Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise Needed for the Job:
Proven experience as a Java Architect, Software architect or a similar role.
Strong expertise in developing and designing microservices architecture using Java technologies and frameworks (e.g., Spring boot)
In-depth understanding of microservices design patterns principles and best practices.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
Familiarity with cloud platforms ( e.g., AWS, Azure).
Proficiency in designing and optimizing databases. Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra) preferred.
Conduct architectural reviews and provide guidance and recommendations to development teams.
Excellent Communication skills to be able to effectively articulate design with developers, management, and the product team.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience in a related field required.

The compensation for this role considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location at which the position may ultimately be filled. At Everi, it is not typical for all individuals to be hired at or near the end of the range; compensation decisions depend on each case’s facts and circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $114,700 - $134,000 annually.
