Accounts Payable Specialist II (Las Vegas, NV)

This position will support our Accounting & Finance team with high-volume, high-level transactions. The Accounting Specialist will primarily support activities related to daily invoice entry and processing PO's.

If you have strong corporate-level accounting experience, enjoy complex A/P and month-end close issues, and employ great critical thinking, this is the role for you!
What Will You Be Doing?
***Important: This position will be primarily on-site in our Corporate Headquarters in Las Vegas.***
Process and review all sales orders, purchase orders and sales returns in a timely fashion, ensuring proper approvals, set up, and documentation are included
Daily invoice entry; reconciles outstanding or questionable invoices
Process invoices for payment in a timely manner while managing invoice dates, due dates, and all relevant payment terms
Ensure financial information such as journal entries and account reconciliations, includes relevant support documentation
Work to resolve customer and vendor discrepancies; monitors customer account details and reconciles outstanding or questionable invoices

Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise for the job:
Strong familiarity with accruals, A/P, A/R, and General Ledger work
Experience including familiarity with account details, revenue reports, billing, and month-end close processes
Strong familiarity with MS Office (Outlook/Word/PowerPoint/Excel)
Knowledge of accounting software; Dynamics NAV preferred
Experience with PO accounting

The compensation for this role considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location at which the position may ultimately be filled. At Everi, it is not typical for all individuals to be hired at or near the end of the range; compensation decisions depend on each case’s facts and circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $22.00-$24.00 per hour and overtime eligible.
