Position:AI-Business Development (AI BD SME)Job Description:Arrow ECS, NA is looking for a world-class AI Bus Dev Subject Matter Expert (AI BD SME), to drive cross-vendor solution alignment and growth in the AI business in North America. In this role, you will develop and execute go-to-market AI/ML cross-vendor strategies that enable Arrow partners to build solutions, offerings, and new capabilities that meet the needs of their customers.This is a very exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of this exciting field alongside some of the most innovative companies in the world. As an AI SME (Subject Matter Expert), you will build influential relationships with key decision makers at suppliers and ecosystem vendors to grow sales and market share in respective technologies through various programs and marketing communications activities. You will liaise between field selling groups and corporate to resolve questions/ issues regarding products and/or suppliers, lead the development and execution of AI business development strategies, identify and pursue new business opportunities in the AI market, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive AI initiatives. You will be expected to be the SME (subject matter expert) within the AI/ML technologies, creating use case and workload deliverables and providing guidance to the field on large opportunities.Our company is dedicated to enabling technology manufacturers and resellers to drive business by deploying and supporting technology solutions, such as artificial intelligence, cloud, security, and data center infrastructure. We strive to create sustainable and profitable growth for our customers and suppliers.What You’ll Be Doing:• Provide subject matter expertise on AI/ML technologies and trends• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive AI/ML initiatives• Lead the development and execution of AI/ML business development strategies.• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the AI/ML market.• Develop influential supplier relationships with key decision makers, allowing Arrow to gain a competitive advantage on sales opportunities and advocate for suppliers within Arrow.• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and technical teams to develop and execute strategies to promote AI/ML solutions and services.• Create AL/ML Business Use case and workload deliverables for partners• Develop and deliver AI/ML cross-vendor solution sales and technical briefings• Identify, prioritize, and pursue new business opportunities within the AI/ML market to achieve revenue targets.• Serve as a subject matter expert on AI/ML, providing guidance and support to internal teams as well as external customers.• Foster strategic relationships with AI/ML technology partners and ISVs to understand the competitive landscape strongly.• Keep abreast of industry trends and AI/ML technology developments to provide innovative insights and recommendations.• Develop influential supplier relationships with key decision makers, allowing Arrow to gain a competitive advantage on sales opportunities and advocate for suppliers within Arrow.• Provide directions to the team to identify specific AI/ML use cases, industry and market segments, and customers. Introduce market-specific suppliers and technologies to the Arrow sales team to grow the customer base.• Drive and work with the team to develop and execute strategies to grow sales/market share with suppliers and/or technologies. Conduct stakeholder management with key constituents in other departments to enable strategy implementation.• Activities include building and executing joint get-to-market and go-to-market plans, educating partners on services, helping partners innovate with our services, and unblocking challenges our partners face in realizing business growth.• You will drive top-line revenue, profitability growth, and overall market adoption of partner solutions and capabilities. You will be the cross-vendor AI/ML subject matter expert supporting supplier management and sales teams.• Implement ease-of-business initiatives with suppliers, including APIs, net transactions, shared backlog files, accurate forecasting, sales tools, etc. Participate in supplier reviews, presentations, and analysis.• The ideal candidate will have experience driving successful partnership initiatives at scale and a sales or business development background with demonstrated experience driving GTM motions. The ideal candidate possesses a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges and a solid ability to dive deep into data to uncover business opportunities.
