Summary
The Director of Field Brand Marketing drives brand awareness via earned media and delivers brand promise via differentiated, meaningful and memorable property activations and guest experiences. This role is responsible for the development of the annual brand programming and activation plan, plan execution, property-level partnerships, development of on-property collateral and brand assets, as well as awareness driving campaigns launched via earned media channels. This position reports to the Vice President of Brand Marketing & Communications
The budgeted salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience, all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Essential Job Functions
• Own properties annual brand programming and activation plan, leveraging insights from product marketing team
• Execution of brand programming and activation plan, including plans to optimize and/or pivot based on results and/or changing conditions, with clear understanding of KPIs and implications of performance
• Manage properties PR agency to develop hotel talking points, facilitate media interviews, and provide relevant, expansive coverage of newsworthy programming and activations to target audiences
• Partner with content team to ensure all social media initiatives for the property deliver against organic channel objectives including content calendar review and approval, growth strategy and engagement goals
• Ensure all imagery and copy is representative of the property and brand in line with brand standards
• Partner with Aspen Hospitality product marketing team to ensure email marketing strategy is driving additional awareness of highest priority guest experiences and on-property events/activations
• Partner with creative team to ensure creative assets leveraged on property including uphold brand standards and are delivering engaging, relevant messaging to the intended audience
• Own and manage guest touchpoints (in-room collateral, websites, etc.) and all property communication (flyers, signs, pre-arrivals, etc.) – leveraging the Aspen One content & creative team
• Partner with creative team to ensure content shoots, inclusive of shot lists, and talent, will deliver on-property creative needs
• Support creative team in scheduling and maintaining photography for property events and updated photography
• Maintain the brand voice and pillars according to established brand standards
• Partner with the Hotel Operations, Food & Beverage and Events teams to ideate, develop and execute events, activations and on-going programming to drive awareness and sales for key programs and initiatives
• Field and analyze ROI and value for new events and partnership requests
• Lead general F&B promotion, including management of the digital presence for all F&B venues across properties
• Discover new & nurture existing relationships with local partners that bring both culturally relevant and brand-aligned events and activations
• Lead annual marketing budget process and invoicing efforts for property marketing budgets
• Manage vendor and agency relationships
• Generate comprehensive recaps for key initiatives
• Communicate and educate all hotel and brand initiatives and announcements to the properties
Education & Experience Requirements
• 10+ years of marketing experience
• Minimum of 5 years in hospitality marketing strongly preferred
• Bachelor's Degree with preferred emphasis in marketing or business
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Knowledge of golf and or marina marketing
• Knowledge of hospitality brand marketing
• Exceptional communications skills and organization skills
• Exceptional written, verbal and in person skills including etiquette
• Experience in Restaurant and/or Food & Beverage outlets a plus
• Experience with content and asset production
• Experience leading teams
• Excellent leadership capabilities, including the ability to develop
• Ability to work with the public
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
• Ability to deal with diverse clientele
• Ability to be resourceful, organized, and has a great creative eye
Work Environment and Physical Demands
• Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements
• No adverse or hazardous conditions
• Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance can vary according to position, but no more than 50
