As a YES Prep employee, you will achieve jaw-dropping results, create pathways to opportunity for our students, build transformative relationships, and eliminate educational inequities to advance social justice.To put it simply, you will be responsible for executing strategies that enhance our brand's visibility and reputation. You will work closely with various teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all channels.THE ROLEWhen you join the YES Prep team, some of the work and responsibilities will include:• Market Research: Conducting market analysis and consumer research to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for brand growth and positioning, focusing on new schools and projected growth.• Creating advertising campaigns, pricing strategies and targeting the demographic data of target audiences.• Enrollment Campaign Execution: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and execute integrated marketing campaigns that promote brand awareness and drive engagement.• Capital Campaign: Partnering with Development team to ensure brand consistency is met across all collateral.• Brand Guidelines: Maintaining and enforcing brand guidelines to ensure consistency in all marketing communications and materials.• Performance Tracking: Monitoring and analyzing performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.• Stakeholder Collaboration: Working closely with internal teams to support brand initiatives and ensure cohesive execution across all touchpoints.• Brand Support: Enhancing and supporting brand visibility through internal trainings, managing brand SharePoint hub for YES Prep team members, and externally through communicating with vendors, ensuring they have access to updated brand files for events, and collaborative efforts.• Account Management: Working with vendors for external marketing efforts including billboards, paid ads, and additional media.• Working closely with Marketing Manager to create an arc of the year marketing campaign that focuses on cross-collaborative work and year over year focus.THE PERSONWe seek staff with diverse backgrounds, talents, interests, and ideas. Other traits needed and desired for this role are:THE MUST HAVES• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university recognized by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB)• 2-4 years of experience in brand marketing or a related role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.• Specialty work experience for the role if a niche role• Strong ability to navigate web-related applications and technology• Strong understanding of brand strategy and marketing principles.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling.• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media and analytics tools.• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to think strategically.• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.• Openness to giving and receiving frequent feedback• Ability to maintain emotional control under stress• Ability to work urgently in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment• Creates and maintains positive working relationships on a team and/or in a highly collaborative environment• A dedication to learn, grow, and develop as a professionalTHE MUST HAVE BELIEFS• Belief in and commitment to the mission and core values of YES Prep Public Schools• Desire to disrupt systemic status quos in education• Willingness to go above and beyond to disrupt said status quos• Passion to develop resiliency through a relentless pursuit of jaw-dropping results• Conviction that high expectations + high accountability = high performance and high growthTHE NICE TO HAVES• 3 years of experience for this role• Understanding of branding aspects• Bilingual – Spanish or other language•
