Assembler - 1st Shift

Performs a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical or measurement product assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, welding and fitting on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. Works within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods with a moderate degree of supervision.

Please note, the open position is 1st shift: 5am-2:30pm Monday-Friday

These roles have the potential to convert to full-time positions.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate assembly of components and subassemblies per production drawings and documents while maintaining accurate manual and electronic records.
  • Adhere to manufacturing schedule in order to meet deadlines while sustaining quality, cost, delivery, and safety metrics.
  • Control accurate inventory on assembly line.
  • Adhere to company policies in order to ensure successful manufacturing goals.
  • Specific job function may change based on functional team assignment.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required. This is an entry level role and requires less than 1 year of experience.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Ability to complete routine tasks.
  • Written and verbal comprehension of the English language.
  • Assembler Instruments - RTD
  • Ability to interpret and understand production documents and drawings to complete tasks.
  • Basic mathematical comprehension (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages.)
  • Must have a working knowledge of standard computer programs.
  • Work within a team environment in a culture of accountability and professionalism.
  • Ability to use hand tools; such as screwdrivers, wrenches, nut-drivers, power drivers, etc.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $15.75 - $16.75 per hour
