Assembler

Snelling is seeking talented Assemblers to join a busy manufacturing team in the Trussville area. 1st shift schedule with overtime! Starting pay range of $21.00-24.00, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities for the Assembler:
1. Responsible for the installation of various parts and/or components onto construction and/or agricultural equipment; such as dozers, excavators, loaders, and agricultural tractors
2. Follow detailed work instructions and procedures to ensure the quality of installation
3. Follow manufacturer procedures for torquing bolts, hydraulic hoses, and fittings

Basic Qualifications Required for the Assembler:
1. Must be able to read and interpret written and oral work instructions.
2. Must be able to work independently using basic hand tools and air tools.
3. Must have a basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems found in heavy equipment.

• Should be able to operate forklifts and overhead cranes.

1. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Candidate must be able to provide their own tools to perform the job duties.
