L.A. Turbine (LAT), a Chart Industries Company, is a design and manufacturing company creating application-specific, highly engineered turboexpanders that are used in hydrocarbon processing, geothermal power generation, and other power-recovery or refrigeration applications in industrial processes worldwide. Our turboexpander configurations include an expander-compressor with oil or active magnetic bearings, expander-generator, expander-dyno (brake) units, and expander-compressors.
LAT also provides comprehensive aftermarket services including repair, redesign, spare part production and commissioning for all OEM turboexpander makes and models.
The company’s operation is vertically integrated with a best-in-class engineering team, a 90,000 sq. foot manufacturing facility staffed with skilled craftsman and equipment to perform component production with state-of-the-art CNC machinery; mechanical, PLC and electrical assembly; metal fabrication; packaging and in-house resonance, balancing, and mechanical run tests.
Company headquarters and manufacturing is in Valencia, California. The company’s global outreach is extended through 17 worldwide business partners.

Job Responsibilities
Salary $22-$32 per hour

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. This position is subject to an uncontrolled manufacturing shop with environmental conditions, which could expose the associate to heat and cold weather, noise and oils as well as subjected to hazards such as, but not limited to, moving parts and vehicles, heat and chemicals and electrical current and may be required to wear a respirator.
