Assembler - Second Shift Only (2pm-10pm)

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks Assemblers who are motivated to work on our Manufacturing team! SEL fosters a collaborative culture in a light manufacturing environment, that is clean and safe. In addition to a starting salary of $20.75 ($19.00 starting pay + $1.75 shift differential) per hour, employee owners also receive a full benefits package. This position will start on First Shift (6:00am-2:00pm) and move to our brand-new second shift (2:00pm-10:00pm) team in September!

As an Assembler, a typical day might include the following:

• Following detailed work instructions to perform basic production duties such as assembly, operating machinery, packaging products, building products and soldering.
• Learning and following all safety policies.
• Developing positive and effective working relationships with co-workers.
• Following and applying SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

We are currently hiring direct into Lake Zurich, Illinois, SEL’s Fault Indicator and Sensor Division, provides a positive, professional environment where you can make a difference in how the industry views SEL products and solutions. Pay Range Data

New hires generally start at $19.00 per hour. Second shift employees also receive $1.75 a shift differential of $1.75. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
