Assembly Supervisor

Responsibilities

Otis Service Center is seeking a supervisor to manage the direct electrical mechanical assemblers.

Primary responsibilities include creating a safety first and inclusive culture, maintaining company policies, establishing work schedules, driving performance and meeting department performance metrics, resolving customer requests and issues, ensuring staff development through cross training, and promoting continuous improvements through use of quality principles, tools, and techniques.

Experience/Qualifications

• Ability to adhere to Otis’ Absolutes of Safety, Ethics and Quality required.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety policies and processes.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Ability to establish performance metrics.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to translate specific department and broader organizational goals and objectives to the workforce.
• Candidate should have a working knowledge of the Assembly department process, plus various Microsoft software applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• The position requires extensive teamwork and organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Must be able to participate in annual inventory and weekend work.
• 3 years’ experience supervising hourly employee preferred
• Prior Assembly experience strongly preferred

Education

Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with equivalent relevant work experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
