Assistant Controller for Disbursements

Bryn Mawr College has an opening for an Assistant Controller for Disbursements.

THE POSITION

Under the general direction of the Controller, the Assistant Controller for Disbursements is responsible for all aspects of accounts payable, credit card administration, procurement, and payroll, including oversight of W-2 and 1099 processing and employment tax compliance (reporting and remittance). The Assistant Controller reviews, develops and communicates policies and service guidelines for areas of responsibility to the College community and serves as the primary contact for inquiries and requests involving these areas. This position establishes and documents internal controls and ensures that they are followed. The Assistant Controller provides direct supervision and guidance to five (5) positions and ensures that the staff are appropriately cross-trained and that all functions and procedures are clearly documented.
