BSA - Finance

Professional

The Assistant Controller, Graniteville location is responsible for providing advanced financial analysis of routine and technical business transactions, leading financial planning cycle activities and ad-hoc analysis, as well as identifying, evaluating, and implementing programs/actions to improve operations. Additional responsibilities include occasionally leading strategic endeavors with cross-functional team members in a manufacturing environment.

This position is onsite daily with Flex Scheduling Options

Responsibilities

• Ensure financial results are reported timely and accurately.
• Leads/supports Forecasting for the plant and leadership teams.
• Develop complex financial models.
• Analyze accounts for reasonableness and ensure proper financial controls are in place.
• Assist in execution of the financial planning cycles and month end closing processes.
• Prepare reports and provide analytical data to management.
• Reviews administration of hourly payroll processing and collaborate with Human Resources team to ensure compliance with labor contract.
• Continuously improve work procedures and processes, including documentation, process mapping and efficiency improvements.
• Other duties and responsibilities as directed.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive work experience in Finance.
• Expert level in Microsoft suite of products especially Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA Degree and /or professional certification (eg. CPA).
• Preference is experience in a manufacturing or similar working environment.
• Proficiency with SAP and BI/BW.
• Strong communication skills, advanced Excel skills
