Summary of job requirement
This position should be viewed as an entry level or apprenticeship for the role of Manufacturing Production Planner. It will require the ability to interact effectively and professionally with senior Planners, customers, and coworkers across business units to precisely translate production needs from multiple sources into demands in our ERP system (SAP) for which Procurement, Manufacturing and Warehouse organizations will be enabled to act in the material world. Employee is required to be highly engaged, self-motivated, and flexible in the tasks they are willing to support. Must be accepting of guidance, training and constructive criticism and demonstrate excellent retention along the way. Must lead by example and promote productivity of coworkers through encouragement and positive reinforcement.
Coordination of Reverse Logistics (aka Return to Stock or “RTS”) of un-needed or excess materials will also be a significant or even primary element of the employee’s workload.
Education
High School graduate or GED.
College courses in business administration, supply chain, communications and accounting preferred.
