As a Business Analyst, you would be responsible for participating in critical aspects of the Savvas’ flagship learning management system, Savvas Realize, and other applications within the Realize ecosystem.
You’ll work directly within a scrum team to define requirements, prioritize a backlog of groomed stories, perform acceptance testing, and ensure the general success of the team.
What You’ll Do:
- Analyze requirements from product, technology, and other stakeholders.
- Organize requirements into stories and acceptance criteria.
- Enable scrum team estimations by providing clarity on requirements.
- Facilitate technical design discussions by setting up meetings and providing the voice of the customer to the technical design team.
- Iterate with user experience and design teams as the development is ongoing.
- Prioritize backlog of epics, stories, maintenance items in accordance with business and technology priorities.
- Evaluate business processes and scrum practices to develop optimization strategies.
- Document and communicate the results of team meetings and deliverables to cross-functional team members and management.
- Analyze and allocate team resources along with other team leads.
- Perform user acceptance testing and ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Work with the project management team to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Keep up-to-date on the latest process and technology advancements to automate and modernize systems.
- Work with technical product managers to serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that requirements are adequately translated into technical specifications, review recommendations and answer any outstanding questions.
What You’ll Need:
- Must have previous experience and or familiarity with software development practices.
- A bachelor’s degree, master’s degree a plus. Engineering, business or related field preferred; other degrees considered with additional experience.
- A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
- Outstanding verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Ability to determine target audience and create communications that are clear, concise and understandable.
- Ability to establish strong working relationships.
