Job Description
A bit more about this role:
As part of the long-term strategy to become a “tech-enabled payvidor,” Devoted Health, Inc launched Devoted Medical, an innovative, world-class, care delivery program to supplement the clinical care needed for Devoted’s members that are not typically offered by the status quo health system. This includes care for frail, older adults who can’t always make it in to see their doctor, patients recently discharged from the hospital, and patients who have gaps in their care or have not seen a PCP recently.
We are seeking an Associate who will lead projects and operations for Devoted Medical’s care management activities, such as interactions with patients leaving the hospital and multi-month guidance for patients with persistent health needs.
Our operations teams care deeply about our patients. We build and maintain programs for Devoted Medical’s clinicians. Working alongside interdisciplinary teams, we seek to solve shortcomings in how, when, and where care is delivered to the sickest individuals, and enable clinical conversations to focus on the patient’s individual values. Daily, we think about how to support the relationship between clinical staff and their patients, put into practice our organizational standards, and act upon insights generated throughout the company.
Responsibilities will include:
Analysis - Help clinical teams monitor cost of care effectiveness using data analysis tools to measure progress against long-term goals.
Service operations - Monitor clinical program enrollment and adherence to Special Needs Plan compliance standards by using analysis tools and process research for about a thousand patient engagements annually
Implementation - Create concrete clinical actions, such as a case management process for patients with fall risk and multiple medications, by supporting project meetings, helping with program planning, and reading clinical literature.
Communication - Preserve the cross-team flow of communication across Devoted, including updates about new projects. Organize initiatives about the quality of clinical programs, such as reviewing a patient journey.
Attributes to success:
Knowing that patients are our #1 priority; our work puts them first
Believing that we do our best work together
Not allowing setbacks to become discouragement; we bounce back and keep going
Setting clear goals, getting them done, and then repeating
Rolling up your sleeves or read the source material
Thriving while working with speed and alongside other quickly moving teams
Enjoyment regularly learning something new, even if esoteric
Desired skills and experience:
1 or more years having a direct impact on an organization’s outcomes through productivity, such as service operations or program management
Teamwork intuition that people are the most important aspects of our work
Analytical. Able to support decisions using analysis, such as a financial or operations model
Interest in data tools (examples: Excel, SQL, Tableau). Intrigued by learning new tools, such as configuration scripts for a web application
Exceptional writing and presentation
Experience or utmost interest in connecting the dots of U.S. healthcare
Salary Range: $57,000 - $78,800 annually
Our Total Rewards package includes:
Employer sponsored health, dental and vision plan with low or no premium
Generous paid time off
$100 monthly mobile or internet stipend
Stock options for all employees

And more....
- Our total rewards package is for full time employees only. Intern and Contract positions are not eligible.
