KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Office Services to join our Administrative and Office Experience organization.
Responsibilities:

Engage in space planning and utilization: develop and execute relocation plans, including communication to office, vendor management, restoration obligation, and liquidation; develop and implement stacking plans based on business needs, analyze badge swipe data, review quarterly with local leadership and oversee storage management; use data to enforce workplace hoteling strategy

Develop, lead, and oversee the team responsible for operations and facility support services in NYO; respond to colleague needs relating to the office space, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly; ensure that services are provided according to policies, procedures, regulations and contractual obligations and standards; people management responsibilities include leading managers, overseeing all activities and support models, and contract for and supervise vendor services to meet and/or exceed expectations of the stakeholders and both daily and strategic oversight of the team

Local meetings and events: manage conference center space usage and ensure meeting room reservations are properly utilized, oversee onsite conference room maintenance, catering services and meetings and events support levels

Develop deep relationships with local leadership; understand their business and their unique space and office needs to best support each practice and the office

Project Management: manage small construction projects under $300,000, vendor installations, conference room repair and internal moves

Liaise with Real Estate Services team such as coordinating contractor visits, accepting materials, engaging with stakeholders on real estate plan; directly manage the day-to-day relationship with the Landlord; direct and manage departmental budgets; proactively identify, share, and encourage implementation of effective cost management/savings tactics
Qualifications:

Minimum eight years of recent experience in people management and office operations including leadership of leaders, and Executive C level support preferably in a professional services or similar environment

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience

Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and practice leaders; capacity to influence key stakeholders and drive strategic priorities

Ability to work in our New York office five days per week

Strong knowledge of construction and space planning; advanced project management, people management, customer service skills, financial management

Advanced leadership, organizational, people management, analytical and communication skills
