Job Summary

There is one position that will be filled commensurate with the successful candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and education:

Associate Electric Transmission Data Systems Analyst

Work under direction of experienced team members to assist with development and maintenance of data systems supporting business unit monitoring, analytics, and asset management activities. Assist with requirements gathering by gaining exposure to engineering, compliance, and asset management concepts fundamental to the business unit. Work with asset management team to record and monitor asset data, and schedule and track maintenance policy and related work order information through all stages of asset life cycle. With supervision, develop programming code to meet requirements for small-scale, single-source applications in support of business needs. Perform analysis of asset information and historical records in support of engineering studies, compliance initiatives, and audit support and documentation. Assist with coordination between end-user business groups and local and enterprise level IT support groups to obtain needed resources and integrate new development with existing systems. Under direction of experienced team members, perform SAP database configuration, Sharepoint site development, and other activities requiring elevated privileges to ensure business applications continue to meet changing business needs. performs assignments designed to develop work knowledge, skills and abilities requiring application of policies, procedures, techniques and other criteria in carrying out all aspects of the job.


Electric Transmission Data Systems Analyst

With limited supervision, develop and maintain data systems supporting business unit monitoring, analytics, and asset management activities. Work with subject matter experts in engineering, compliance, and asset management to understand business needs and develop system requirements. Perform asset management function for assigned equipment, recording and monitoring asset data and scheduling and tracking maintenance policy and related work order information through all stages of asset life cycle. Independently develop programming code to meet requirements for small-scale, singlesource applications in support of business needs. Under direction of Senior or Lead Level team members, perform unit coding and testing as part of larger and more complex software systems. Perform analysis of asset information and historical records in support of engineering studies, compliance initiatives, and audit support and documentation. Assist with coordination between end-user business groups and local and enterprise level IT support groups to obtain needed resources and integrate new development with existing systems. Perform SAP database configuration, Sharepoint site development, and other activities requiring elevated privileges to ensure business applications continue to meet changing business needs. Provide training and assistance to less experienced team members


Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experience required for entry into this job include the following:

Associate Electric Transmission Data Systems Analyst

0-2 years of related experience. Basic knowledge of foundational software concepts, including data structures and process flow. Basic knowledge of operating system concepts. Planning, organizational and project management skills with the ability to facilitate and/or work on multiple project teams simultaneously. Analytical and problem solving skills. Detail-oriented and quality-focused. Good oral and written communication skills

Electric Transmission Data Systems Analyst

3+ years directly related experience; Demonstrated full proficiency in utilizing SAP Enterprise Asset Management to perform specific functions required; Strong knowledge of operating system concepts; Basic proficiency with SQL queries; Demonstrated proficiency with building software solutions to solve moderately complex problems; Basic knowledge of SharePoint site development and administration concepts; Strong planning, organizational and project management skills with the ability to facilitate and/or work on multiple project teams simultaneously; Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Detail-oriented and quality-focused; Knowledge of compliance regulations and policies; Excellent oral and written communication skills

Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E9, W1-W5, or O1-O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined above

Education Requirements

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

Bachelor

Preferred Discipline(s): Business, Computer Science, Information Technology

Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.
