In your role, you will create and implement strategies to attract, engage, and retain top talent that showcases Altria as an employer of choice. You will build a compelling narrative of Altria’s mission, vision, and inclusive culture. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Create and implement employer branding strategies and our EVP (Employee Value Proposition) that aligns with the company's mission and core values.
  • Create compelling stories and authentic messaging to kick off a great candidate experience, attracting top talent across various channels, including social media, career websites, job boards, and other digital platforms.
  • Build a coordinated marketing campaign inclusive of creative, copy and collateral to support the brand for all talent (experienced hires, campus recruiting, diversity outreach, manufacturing)
  • Build innovative approaches to expand the brand beyond recruitment to become a full-life-cycle employer brand that embodies the career progression from hire to exit encompassing development, progress, culture, total rewards, and eventually resignation/retirement.
  • Engage and partner with Corporate Communications to ensure both internal and external messaging is aligned with our EVP and employer branding strategies, especially pertaining to social media and other outlets
  • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to understand talent needs and create targeted messaging, any visual aids, etc. for different roles and departments.
  • Manage the career website, ensuring it is up-to-date and engaging.
  • Manage and update our Company Profiles on LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor; Monitor and respond to employee reviews on Glassdoor and other review sites.
  • Understand how different audiences seek employment – scientists, developers, regulatory affairs, finance, law, sales, manufacturing, college students, etc. including specialized roles, primarily passive candidates (those who are not actively looking for another job).
  • Own the vendor relationships with the employer brand agencies to include the creation of materials, videos, website designs, presentations, etc. including analyzing return on investments for all recruiting campaigns, including vendor execution.
  • Analyze metrics related to employer branding and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices related to employer branding.

WHAT YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in employer branding, recruitment marketing.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create compelling and authentic messaging.
  • Experience with storytelling, sharing Altria’s story and the stories our employees’ experiences.
  • Experience developing digital content either partnering with an agency or developing on your own.
  • Experience with social media, career websites, job boards, and other digital platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver wining results.
  • Collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with HR, Corporate Communications, hiring managers, and other partners.
