The Associate Manufacturing Engineer - CAD/CAM Designer, Production Support (0770) Opportunity:

Are you an experienced CAD / CAM Designer, well versed in the CAD and CAM processes and familiar with the Autodesk Fusion 360 program? Come join Veev's Manufacturing Engineering team! If you have a growth mindset and a “never say can’t” attitude, as part of our innovative start-up, you will work very closely with our current designer, alongside our production and design teams. Our Associate Manufacturing Engineer will focus on the CAD/CAM to efficiently nest surface materials and generate G-code files for production runs. The successful candidate will also be able to assist the production teams and focus on the design reviews before being released for production.

You Will:

• Navigate digital construction spaces (BIM360, Arena Solutions, etc.)

• Understand, interpret drawings, and review designs

• Design towards process improvements and upgrades

• Nest surface bodies according to raw stock material dimension and set up tool paths to create G-Code

• Perform simulations to ensure adequate tool paths

• Provide process documentation for production runs

• Supply visuals of nesting files for identification

• Work across diverse departments - design, engineering, quality, information systems, CNC operators and production team members.

• Manage expectations and time constraints

Requirements, Knowledge and Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience

• Must be familiar with Fusion 360 Software

• Experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)

• Familiar with production environments

• Experience in process simulations

• Perform task in a fast paced environment

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

• Familiar with BIM360 document management

Advantages :

• BS Degree in Engineering

• Ability to speak Spanish

Compensation:

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skills, education, experience, and location is $75,000 - $85,000 annually for Hayward, CA and surrounding areas. This role is also eligible for stock options, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, flexible paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
