Are you looking for a career in business development? Join DMA’s Inside Sales team!
We are looking for a passionate self-starter seeking a successful career in business development. As a member of DMA’s Inside Sales team, you will partner with the DMA Business Development Team to schedule new prospect meetings, make a positive first impression of DMA, and drive new clients to DMA. In this role, you’ll work with DMA’s national business development team, marketing, and other tax specialists to manage and grow opportunities within your market/region to achieve sales objectives. You do not need sales experience or a knowledge of tax; we will teach you what you need to know! Training and onboarding will be provided by experienced professionals.
This is hybrid position with both remote and in office days. Candidates must be located near one of these DMA offices:

- Atlanta, GA
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proactively target $1B+ and mid-market companies via outbound calls, email, and social media to secure virtual and in-person business meetings.
- Partner with DMA’s business development team to identify the best strategies to create a reason or reasons for prospects to meet virtually or in-person.
- Promote and effectively communicate DMA’s services.
- Perform a variety of tasks in support of the business development team’s goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain prospect relationships within a territory.
- Manage established DMA entry-level clients.
- Manage your daily activity in DMA’s CRM.
- Maintain a positive, open line of communication with each Account Manager and his/her administrative assistant.
- Maintain activity levels to ensure meeting monthly goals.
- Light travel once quarterly for collaboration with team members
Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the business development team with projects and data management as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Long-term career goals
- Self-motivated to consistently meet established goals
- Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Persuasive communication and persistent follow-up skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Basic Internet research skills
- Advanced level MS Word and basic level MS Excel knowledge
- Ability to overcome objections
