Job Purpose
The Early Career Investments Program (ECIP) aims to attract and develop small cohorts of aspiring professionals to join Invesco's Investments organization. Through a coordinated program, the ECIP recruits and trains high-caliber talent to help build the next generation of investors at the firm.
Program Overview
Invesco's Early Career Investor Program provides a rare opportunity to observe the inner workings of a real-world investment team from the inside. The program begins with an in office/in person 10-week internship in June 2024 between a student's junior and senior year in college. During your internship, you will be paired with an investment team, supporting them in their day-to-day functions. Team pairings could include Fixed Income, Private Credit, Active Equities, or Multi Asset Strategies.
Near the end of your 10-week internship, you'll be given the opportunity to stay involved with the program; if you're successful, you'll receive a full-time job offer from Invesco Investments that would start after you graduate.
After graduation, you'll begin your career in investments with an integrative onboarding and a 12-month rotation through fixed income, equities, and alternatives investment teams. After completing your rotations, you will transition into a permanent position with one of our investment teams.
This position is a pipeline into our full-time Early Career Investor Program, which does not qualify for employer-sponsored immigration. You are not qualified for this internship position if you need immigration sponsorship after completing your degree.
Program Requirements

Creative problem solver and analytical thinker
A demonstrated interest in investments
Must be able to gather and interpret market data
Technologically proficient in Microsoft office tools, specifically Excel
Can prioritize work, meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
Must be able to work in one of Invesco's offices where the program is available
Prior internship in investment management preferred
Major or coursework in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Liberal Arts, Mathematics, Stats, Economics, or Business a plus
Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree and be a rising Junior graduating by summer of 2025
Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
Authorization to work in the U.S.
To be eligible for this program, you must be authorized to work in the U.S.. Invesco will not offer any type of immigration sponsorship for this program. Invesco will not provide any assistance or sign any documentation in support of any other form of immigration sponsorship or benefit.
Relocation and housing will not be included if an offer is extended.

The Early Career Investor Program will help secure your place in the highly selective, competitive industry of asset management, with an opportunity to receive full-time employment upon graduation. Our summer internship program is the main source for hiring into our Investments Early Career Rotational Program.
Clear Career Path. Clear line of sight into opportunity to become a portfolio manager, research analyst or trader, with hands on experience and mentoring.
What to expect
We'll evaluate your application and contact you if you meet the requirements. If your application is further progressed, you will be contacted via email to schedule a HireVue video interview. Your application will not advance past the initial screening phase until HireVue has been successfully completed.
