Responsibilities:
The Associate Project Manager interfaces with individuals and groups that will be involved with a project installation and implementation. In this role you may be tasked to manage and coordinate various installation associates, monitor installation performance, monitor equipment installations, operational costs, bill work and overall project quality to insure the achievement of established goals and objectives.
Some essential functions of the role include:
1. Conduct Scope Initiation Calls with Sales Team
2. Provides input to the product salesperson for change order processing that is within the scope of the order
3. Check Sales Order for allowance and equipment accuracy.
4. Ensure receipt of documentation from the customer and vendors.
5. Develops project plan with customer, including schedule, specific responsibilities of each party, deliverables, terms of acceptance, etc.
6. Assembles and directs the project team to stay within the target margin or budgeted cost
7. Works with IPMO Supervisors to obtain project coordination and tracking support for project activity
8. Provides project specific requirements to IPMO supervisor in order for appropriate project coordinator and tracker to be assigned
9. Conduct Project kick-off meeting with Customer and Internal Stakeholders
10. Ensures that the project team is trained in Diebold’s policies, standards, and procedures and that they are practiced in everyday project activities
11. Interface with Internal Diebold Team Associates.
12. Provides management and leadership for all service delivery personnel during the project. Usually acts as a decision maker in matters of conflict or ambiguity
13. Provides focal point for project problem resolution and escalation
14. Communicate with all concerned parties regarding Project progress throughout Project lifecycle.
15. Ensures project deliverables are consistent with customer expectations
16. Ensures receipt of formal sign-off (CFIN) from customer indicating acceptance of work and deliverables
17. Solicits formal customer feedback on satisfaction with the quality of the services delivered
18. Creates timely, accurate, and complete project reports for account team and customer management
19. Provides specific information to assigned Program Manager regarding forecast, project performance metrics, workload assignments, project plan preparation, escalations, support and personal development needs
20. Monitor and control actual cost compared to budgeted cost.
21. Coordinate customer training in operation and use of installed system(s).
22. Communicate project closure information to Installation Coordinator.
23. Ensure quality control on all Projects.
24. Conduct Lessons Learned
