A week in the life of an Associate Software Developer:

• Develop software changes for acoustic underwater systems including bug-fixes, enhancements, and new capabilities.
• Troubleshoot software and system problems found during testing or by the fleet.
• Attend meetings and provide software input and expertise in support of acoustic underwater systems.
• Generate system documentation according to software and system updates.

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Secret security clearance required.
• 0-1 years' experience in software development.
• Familiarity with:
  • Various development languages including Java, C++, etc.
  • Database languages and tools such as SQL, MySQL, etc.
  • Various Linux distributions including Red Hat, Ubuntu, etc.
  • Undersea warfare systems including acoustic systems is desirable.
