Accounting ManagerResponsibilities:• Oversee the General Accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Receipts, Fixed Assets, and Lease Accounting.• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal control policies.• Supervise and support the Accounting, A/P, and A/R teams, providing backup as needed.• Develop team members through performance management, training, and fostering strong employee relationships.• Manage Sales & Use Tax Return filings.• Generate monthly A/R metrics reports.• Assist the VP with monthly and year-end closing activities to ensure timely financial statement generation.• Handle Fixed Asset accounting and reporting.• Collaborate with the VP to develop departmental goals and update internal control policies and procedures.• Manage the accounting staff responsible for financial reporting, billing, and collections.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or MBA preferred.• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory experience preferred.• Proficiency in General Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and Sage Fixed Assets is a plus.• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.• Strong knowledge of MS Office suite.What We Offer:• Competitive benefits supporting career, family, personal wellness, financial wellbeing, and retirement.• Opportunities to collaborate with talented teams across multiple states.• An inclusive and diverse work environment that fosters career development.• A culture that encourages work-life balance.About Aston Carter:Aston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions to thousands of clients across the globe.
